...HIGH WIND WATCH FOR THE GUADALUPE MOUNTAINS LATE FRIDAY NIGHT
AND SATURDAY...

.A strong upper level storm system will move across the central
Rockies and central Plains late Friday and Saturday. Strong winds
may develop in the Guadalupe Mountains as this system passes by
to the north.

...HIGH WIND WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE FRIDAY EVENING THROUGH
SATURDAY AFTERNOON...

* TIMING...Late Friday evening through Saturday.

* WINDS...Southwest to west 35 to 50 mph with gusts to 65 mph.

* IMPACTS...These winds may make driving difficult for motorists
  driving high profile vehicles. Low flying light aircraft may
  experience severe turbulence.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A High Wind Watch means there is the potential for a hazardous
high wind event. Sustained winds of at least 40 mph, or gusts of
58 mph or stronger may occur. Continue to monitor the latest
forecasts.
