THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RALEIGH HAS ISSUED A DENSE FOG
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST THIS MORNING.

* VISIBILITIES...AT OR BELOW ONE QUARTER MILE.

* TIMING...DENSE FOG IS EXPECTED TO PERSIST THROUGH THE RUSH HOUR
  COMMUTE...THEN GRADUALLY LIFT AND SCATTER OUT LATER THIS
  MORNING.

* IMPACT...HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

IF DRIVING, SLOW DOWN, USE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS, AND LEAVE PLENTY
OF FOLLOWING DISTANCE. EXERCISE ADDITIONAL CAUTION AT
INTERSECTIONS AND ON HIGHWAY ONRAMPS AND OFFRAMPS WHERE ACCIDENTS
ARE MORE LIKELY TO OCCUR.
