...Spring Time in Alaska and Its 20 Below...

March 2017 has been a very cold one so far in Fairbanks.
Every day through today has had a low temperature below zero, and
since the spring equinox on March 20, 2 days have reached 20
below. There have been 7 days of 30 below or colder this March with
the coldest being 39 below on March 8.

No days have reached freezing so far this March in Fairbanks. The
highest temperature so far this month is 22 degrees on March 11.

Temperatures are expected to remain cold through this weekend, and
then warm to near normal by the middle of next week. Temperatures
could reach above freezing by next Wednesday.
