...AN ENHANCED FIRE DANGER EXPECTED TODAY ACROSS THE FOUR STATE
REGION THAT INCLUDES EXTREME SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA...SOUTHWEST AND
SOUTH CENTRAL ARKANSAS...EAST AND NORTHEAST TEXAS...AND NORTHWEST
AND NORTH CENTRAL LOUISIANA...

HIGH PRESSURE BUILDING BEHIND A COLD FRONT TODAY WILL BRING LOWER
DEWPOINTS IN THE TEENS AND LOWER 20 WITH RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES
OF 15-30 PERCENT. DRY CONDITIONS...COMBINED WITH STRONG AND GUSTY
WINDS OF 20 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS TO 35-40 MPH...WILL PRODUCE AN
ENHANCED FIRE DANGER FOR THE AREA.

EXTREME CARE IS URGED DURING ALL OUTSIDE ACTIVITIES WHERE THERE
IS A POTENTIAL FOR GRASS FIRES AND FIRES TO START AND SPREAD
RAPIDLY. AVOID OUTSIDE BURNING AND DO NOT TOSS LIT CIGARETTE BUTTS
OUTSIDE...ESPECIALLY FROM A MOVING CAR WHERE WINDS CAN QUICKLY
FAN A FLAME. REPORT ALL WILD FIRES TO THE NEAREST FIRE DEPARTMENT
OR LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICE QUICKLY.
