DURING THE PAST 24 HOURS ENDING AT 8AM THIS MORNING...A COLD FRONT
MOVED THROUGH OUR REGION MAKING IT AS FAR EAST AS CAPE COD. AHEAD
OF THE FRONT...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MOVED OVER OUR REGION.
FIRST OVER WESTERN AND NORTHERN MASSACHUSETTS AND SOUTHWEST NEW
HAMPSHIRE LAST EVENING...THEN A SECOND DEVELOPMENT OVER THE SOUTH
COAST...CAPE COD AND ISLANDS AFTER MIDNIGHT LAST NIGHT. RAINFALL
TOTALS RANGED FROM A TRACE TO AS MUCH AS AN INCH.

THE COLD FRONT WILL STALL ALONG THE SOUTH COAST AND REMAIN NEARLY
STATIONARY TODAY AND TONIGHT...YIELDING LOTS OF CLOUDS AND POSSIBLY
A FEW SHOWERS TO THE SOUTH COAST. ELSEWHERE...MAINLY DRY WEATHER
WILL PREVAIL TODAY WITH LOWER HUMIDITY AND SEASONABLE TEMPERATURES
COMPLEMENTS OF HIGH PRESSURE BUILDING OVER NEW ENGLAND.

FOR FRIDAY...LESS HUMID CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE WITH EVEN THE SOUTH
COAST GETTING A TASTE OF LOWER DEWPOINTS.

FOR THE WEEKEND...DRY AND SEASONABLE CONDITIONS WILL PREVAIL. HIGH
PRESSURE WILL BUILD OVERHEAD SATURDAY...THEN MOVE OFFSHORE SUNDAY.

AREA RIVER LEVELS WILL REMAIN NEARLY STATIONARY THROUGH THE WEEKEND.
