HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT

...Water levels are high or forecast to have significant rises for
the following rivers or creeks:  Grand River at Jackson...Eaton
Rapids...Comstock Park...Grand Rapids...Robinson Township...Red Cedar
at Williamston...Pere Marquette River at Scottville...Little Muskegon
at Morley...

.Cold air and lake effect snow expected into the weekend with
light frozen precipitation. This should help limit the minor
flooding due to the rain over the last 2 days. The following forecast
is based on observed and forecast 48 hour precipitation.

For the Grand River At Jackson... the latest stage was 11.8 feet at
11 AM Wednesday. No flooding is forecast. The maximum stage
forecast is 12.7 feet Saturday evening. Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
At 13.0 feet... River is bankfull. River begins to flow into low
lying areas.

For the Grand River At Eaton Rapids... the latest stage was 3.9 feet
at 8 AM Wednesday. No flooding is forecast. The maximum stage
forecast is 5.0 feet tomorrow early afternoon.  Flood stage is 6.0
feet.  At 5.0 feet... River is bankfull. Expect minor overflow into
low lying areas.

For the Grand River Near Comstock Park... the latest stage was 9.2
feet at 10 AM Wednesday. No flooding is forecast. The maximum
stage forecast is 11.0 feet Sunday morning. Flood stage is 12.0
feet. At 11.0 feet... River is bankfull.

For the Grand River At Grand Rapids... the latest stage was 8.2 feet
at 12 PM Wednesday. No flooding is forecast. The maximum stage
forecast is 12.4 feet Monday morning. Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

For the Grand River At Robinson Township... the latest stage was 10.9
feet at 10 AM Wednesday.  No flooding is forecast. The maximum
stage forecasted is 12.6 feet Tuesday morning. Flood stage is 13.3
feet. At 13.0 feet... River is bankfull..

For the Red Cedar River Above Williamston... the latest stage was 6.1
feet at 12 PM Wednesday.  No flooding is forecast. The maximum
stage forecasted is 7.1 feet tomorrow evening. Flood stage is 9.0
feet.  At 7.0 feet... River is bankfull. Overflow begins in low lying
areas adjacent to the river.

For the Pere Marquette River Near Scottville... the latest stage was
3.7 feet at 12 PM Wednesday. No flooding is forecast. The maximum
stage forecast is 3.9 feet early Saturday morning. Flood stage is
5.5 feet. At 4.0 feet... River is bankfull. Overflow of low lying
areas adjacent to the river occurs.

For the Little Muskegon River Above Morley... the latest stage was
estimated at 3.0 feet at 8 AM Wednesday. No flooding is forecast. The
maximum stage forecast is 3.7 feet tomorrow morning. Flood stage is
6.0 feet.
