...The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a hydrologic
statement for the following river...


  Missouri River affecting St. Charles


.This hydrologic statement is based on 2 to 3 inches of precipitation the
past several days and 0.5 to 1.0 inches forecast in the next 24 hours...

Safety message:  Never drive cars, trucks, or sport utility vehicles
through flooded areas.  The water may be too deep to allow for safe
passage.

Forecast information for
  The Missouri River at St. Charles
* At 3 AM Saturday the stage was 22.3 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
* The river is forecast to crest near flood stage Sunday evening.
* At 25.0 feet...The right bank downstream overflows, flooding agricultural
  bottomland. Near this stage, Missouri Route H at Island Road will be closed
  in both directions.
