TRADE-WIND CONVERGENCE IS PRODUCING SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS OVER POHNPEI AND KOSRAE STATES AND THE SOUTHWEST
MARSHALL ISLANDS BETWEEN 1N AND 7N FROM 158E TO 171E. ALSO...PATCHY
SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS ARE OVER CHUUK STATE BETWEEN 8N AND
3N FROM 151E TO 156E AND NEAR TARAWA BETWEEN THE EQUATOR AND 3N FROM
172E TO 180.

A SURFACE TROUGH NORTHWEST OF THE MARIANA ISLANDS RUNS SOUTHWESTWARD
FROM 25N146E TO 17N130E. CLOUDS AND PATCHY SHOWERS ARE WITHIN 80
MILES OF THE TROUGH.
