A FRONTAL BOUNDARY EXTENDS SOUTHWESTWARD FROM SOUTH OF JAPAN
THROUGH 25N138E TO BEYOND 130E AT 20N. EXTENSIVE CLOUDINESS WITH
RAIN AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS ARE FOUND NORTHWEST OF A LINE FROM
15N130E TO 23N147E.

A SHEAR LINE STRETCHES WESTWARD FROM SOUTH OF MIDWAY ISLAND
THROUGH 22N180...PASSING NORTH OF WAKE ISLAND AT 21N167E TO END
WEST OF THE NORTHERN CNMI AT 20N143E. PATCHY CLOUDS AND SHOWERS
ARE PRESENT ALONG AND UP TO 200 MILES NORTH OF THIS FEATURE.

CONVERGING TRADE WINDS ARE CAUSING SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS WELL SOUTHWEST OF CHUUK WITHIN 30 MILES OF A LINE
FROM 1N148E TO 2N150E. SIMILAR CONDITIONS ARE ALSO SEEN NEAR
TARAWA ATOLL WITHIN 65 MILES OF A LINE FROM 3N168E TO EQ172E...AND
EAST OF A LINE FROM 3N178E TO EQ179E.
