...OCEAN EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS ACROSS THE OUTER-CAPE WILL RESULT IN
HAZARDOUS TRAVEL ALONG WITH POOR VISIBILITY THIS MORNING...

OCEAN EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS WERE AFFECTING THE OUTER-CAPE EARLY THIS
MORNING...ESPECIALLY NEAR THE PROVINCETOWN TO EASTHAM AREAS. THESE
SNOW SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE THIS MORNING...BEFORE TAPERING OFF
DURING THE AFTERNOON. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WILL VARY CONSIDERABLY
ACROSS THE OUTER-CAPE OVER SHORT DISTANCES...BUT A SWATH OF 1 TO
3 INCHES OF SNOW IS POSSIBLE. MEANWHILE...LITTLE MORE THAN A FEW
FLURRIES ARE EXPECTED FROM HYANNIS AND POINTS WEST.

ROADS WILL BE SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY ACROSS THE OUTER-CAPE...
ESPECIALLY NORTH OF CHATHAM. THE OTHER CONCERN WILL BE THE STRONG
WINDS...WHICH MAY RESULT IN POOR VISIBILITY AT TIMES. GIVEN THE
BITTERLY COLD TEMPERATURES...STRONG WINDS AND SNOW...TRAVEL IS
DISCOURAGED EARLY THIS MORNING TO THE NORTH OF CHATHAM.
