...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR CENTRAL FORT BEND AND SOUTH
CENTRAL HARRIS COUNTIES UNTIL 700 PM CDT...

At 618 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
eastern Sugar Land, moving west at 10 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Sugar Land, Missouri City, eastern Rosenberg, Stafford, Richmond,
Town West, Pecan Grove, First Colony, Mission Bend, southwestern
Eldridge / West Oaks, Meadows Place, Pleak, Fairchilds, Thompsons,
New Territory, Westwood, Four Corners, Greatwood, Fifth Street and
Cumings.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
