...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR LOW CLOUDS ACROSS NORTHERN
ALABAMA AND SOUTHERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE...

NIGHTTIME COOLING HAS RESULTED IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF LOW ALTITUDE
CLOUDS FORMING ACROSS THE TENNESSEE VALLEY. CLOUD BASES AT OR
BELOW 500 FEET WERE COMMON ACROSS THE AREA. THIS HAS PRODUCED
FOGGY CONDITIONS IN THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF THE TENNESSEE VALLEY.
THIS HAS RESULTED IN VISIBILITIES OF LESS THAN ONE HALF OF A MILE
IN THE ELEVATED TERRAIN.

DAYTIME HEATING...AND THE APPROACH OF A THUNDERSTORM COMPLEX FROM
THE NORTHWEST...WILL HELP ERODE THESE LOW CLOUDS.

MOTORISTS TRAVELING IN THE MOUNTAINS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR RAPIDLY
CHANGES VISIBILITIES FROM LOW CLOUDS AND FOG. REDUCE SPEED AS
APPROPRIATE AND USE LOW BEAM HEADLAMPS.

STAY TUNED TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO...OR A FAVORITE LOCAL MEDIA
OUTLET...FOR FURTHER STATEMENTS OR UPDATES FROM THE NATIONAL
WEATHER SERVICE IN HUNTSVILLE.
