...AREAS OF FOG AND LOW CLOUDS BLANKETING THE AREA...

WIDESPREAD FOG WITH VISIBILITIES AROUND 1 MILE...WILL AFFECT THE
REGION THROUGH THE MID-MORNING HOURS. A FEW POCKETS OF DENSE
FOG...WITH VISIBILITY LESS THAN 1/2 MILE...WILL ALSO PLAGUE
THE MORNING TRAFFIC AND COMMUTE...VIA AIR...BOAT AND AUTOMOBILE.
THE AREA LIES JUST NORTH OF A COLD FRONT LOCATED ALONG THE NC-SC
BORDER. THE MOIST LOW LEVEL NORTHEAST WINDS AND A SFC BASED
INVERSION WILL ALSO PRODUCE LOW CLOUDS AT ONLY SEVERAL HUNDRED
FEET. THE AREA WILL SEE SLOW BUT IMPROVING CONDITIONS BY MID TO
LATE MORNING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

VISIBILITIES MAY REDUCE TO LESS ONE MILE...WITH POCKETS OF DENSE
FOG FURTHER REDUCING VISIBILITY TO ONE QUARTER MILE . IF
DRIVING...SLOW DOWN...USE YOUR HEADLIGHTS...AND LEAVE PLENTY OF
DISTANCE AHEAD OF YOU. IF BOATING...MAKE USE OF GPS...DEPTH
FINDERS...AND AIDS TO NAVIGATION FOR TRAVERSING THE INSHORE AND
NEARSHORE WATERS.
