prolong hazardous surf and high rip current risk across the Marianas
into early next week.

AND WEST FACING SHORES...

.Friday...
Coastal Winds............North at 10 to 15 mph.
Surf along North facing reefs............6 to 8 feet.
Surf along East  facing reefs............4 to 6 feet.
Surf along South facing reefs............8 to 10 feet.
Surf along West  facing reefs............9 to 11 feet.
Primary swell...............West at 6 to 8 feet.
Primary period..............13 seconds.
Secondary swell...............Northeast around 3 feet.
Secondary period..............10 seconds.

Rip current risk.....High. Pounding surf will produce dangerous rip
                     currents at reefs and beaches. Stay out of the
                     water.

Sea surface temperature at Ritidian buoy...85 Degrees.
Maximum afternoon heat index...........Around 99.

.OUTLOOK...Surf will drop 1 to 2 feet along south facing shores on
Friday evening and rise 1 to 2 feet along north facing shores this
weekend.
