The National Weather Service in Columbia has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Eastern Lee County in central South Carolina...
  Clarendon County in central South Carolina...
  Central Sumter County in central South Carolina...
  Southeastern Orangeburg County in central South Carolina...

* Until 445 PM EDT

* At 347 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Bishopville to South Sumter to near Summerton
  to 8 miles northwest of Holly Hill, moving southeast at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Manning, South Sumter, Holly Hill, Summerton, Elloree, Mulberry,
  Millwood, Santee, Turbeville, Mayesville, Pinewood, Lynchburg,
  Eutawville, Paxville, Vance, Oswego, Lakewood, Privateer, East
  Sumter and Shiloh.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

If on or near Lake Marion, get away from the water and move indoors
or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 15 miles
from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close
enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now!  Do not
be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
