A WEAK SYSTEM WILL CONTINUE TO SPREAD LIGHT SNOW ACROSS EASTERN
SOUTH DAKOTA TODAY. TOTAL SNOWFALL AMOUNTS WILL TOP OUT BETWEEN 2
AND 3 INCHES FOR PARTS OF THE JAMES VALLEY AND SISSETON HILLS.
THERE MAY ALSO BE POCKETS OF FREEZING DRIZZLE MIXED IN WITH THE
SNOW.

TEMPERATURES WEST RIVER COULD TOP OUT IN THE 40S TODAY...HOWEVER
READINGS IN EASTERN SOUTH DAKOTA AND WESTERN MINNESOTA WILL REMAIN
IN THE TEENS AND 20S ALL DAY. THAT SAME GRADIENT PERSISTS
OVERNIGHT...WITH TEMPERATURES FALLING INTO THE 20S WEST RIVER AND
SINGLE DIGITS IN EASTERN SOUTH DAKOTA AND WESTERN MINNESOTA.
