WEATHER SYNOPSIS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PADUCAH KY
215 PM CDT THU MAY 21 2015

HIGH PRESSURE WILL BE CENTERED ACROSS THE QUAD STATE REGION THROUGH
MOST OF FRIDAY. THIS WILL KEEP TEMPERATURES ONCE AGAIN BELOW
NORMAL FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR TODAY, GRADUALLY RISING TO SLIGHTLY
BELOW NORMAL ON FRIDAY. A SERIES OF WEATHER SYSTEMS WILL MOVE
INTO AND ROTATE ACROSS THE CENTRAL AND NORTHERN PLAINS LATER THIS
WEEKEND AND SLOWLY DRIFT EAST THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK.
WITH HIGH PRESSURE OFF TO THE EAST, A GENEROUS FLOW OF MOISTURE
WILL MOVE NORTHWARD FROM THE GULF OF MEXICO LEADING TO WARM AND
MOIST AIR MOVING ACROSS THE QUAD STATE REGION. THE COMBINATION
OF WEATHER DISTURBANCE GLANCING ACROSS THE QUAD STATE REGION AND
WARMTH AND MOISTURE FROM THE GULF OF MEXICO SHOULD LEAD TO A DAILY
CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS FROM SUNDAY INTO THE MIDDLE
OF NEXT WEEK. GIVEN THE VARIABILITY IN COVERAGE OF RAIN FOR THE
HOLIDAY WEEKEND AND BEYOND NOT EVERYONE WILL SEE RAIN EACH DAY.
