...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM PST THIS
MORNING...

* TIMING...Snow...heavy at times will continue along and just east
  of the crest with lighter accumulations at Aspendell, Rock Creek
  Lakes and Whitney Portal. The snow will taper off to flurries or
  end all together this afternoon.


* SNOW LEVEL...7000 to 7500 feet this morning falling to 6500 this
  afternoon.

* TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...Additional accumulations of 1 to 3
  inches between 7000 and 9000 feet...3 to 5 inches above 9000
  feet.

* WINDS...Southwest 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* IMPACTS...Travel will remain difficult due to slick, slushy or
  snow packed roads. The gusty winds will create areas of
  blowing or drifting snow reducing the visibility at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow will cause
travel difficulties. Use caution when traveling and be prepared
for slippery roads and limited visibilities..
