For the Chowan Basin...including Sebrell...Franklin...Minor flooding
is occurring and is expected to continue.For the Lower Roanoke
Basin...including Windsor...Minor flooding is occurring and is
expected to continue.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Please use extreme caution if venturing near riverbanks. Move to
higher ground immediately should rising water threaten your safety.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Nottoway River At Sebrell
* until Wednesday evening...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 09:15 PM Saturday the stage was 16.6 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 17.7 feet by
  Tuesday afternoon. The river will fall below flood stage
  Wednesday afternoon.
* At 18.5 feet...Hancock Peanut Mill is affected in Courtland.
This river level is comparable to a previous crest of 17.9 feet on
Dec 29 2015.

  The Blackwater River Above Franklin
* until late Monday night...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 08:45 PM Saturday the stage was 11.9 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Flood stage is 10.8 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
  Monday night.
* At 11.8 feet...A portion of State Route 611 in Southampton County,
  Joyners Bridge Road, is innundated. A portion of State Route 619,
  in Isle of Wight County, is flooded.
This river level is comparable to a previous crest of 10.8 feet on
Jul 7 2015.

* At 09:15 PM Saturday the stage was 9.8 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will crest near 9.8 feet tonight. The river
  will fall below flood stage Monday before midnight.
* At 10.0 feet...Moderate flooding, portions of Liverman Park Zoo,
  Granville Street, King Street, and Queen Street innundated.
This river level is comparable to a previous crest of 8.4 feet on Jan
2 2016.
