The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northwestern Brown County in west central Texas...
  Coleman County in west central Texas...
  Northeastern Concho County in west central Texas...
  Northern McCulloch County in west central Texas...

* Until 315 AM CDT.

* At 1201 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  moderate to occasionally heavy rainfall continues. This area has
  seen between 3 and 6 inches of rain earlier in the evening, and
  creeks and streams remained flooded and impassable in many areas.
  Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the
  warned area. Flash flooding likely continue along the smaller
  creeks and streams that flow into Pecan Bayou, Jim Need Creek,
  Lake Brownwood, and Ivie Reservoir.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Coleman, Santa Anna, Novice, Valera, Silver Valley, Glen Cove,
  Burkett, Grosvenor, Voss, Gouldbusk, Lake Brownwood Near Thrifty,
  Lake Brownwood, Talpa, Cross Cut, Byrds, Leaday, Stacy, Ivie
  Reservoir Near Concho Park Marina, Doole and May.

2273 crossing Rough Branch, County Road 482 crossing South Fork Jim
Ned Creek, County Road 172 crossing Little Pecan Bayou, County Road
485 crossing Indian Creek, County Road 406 crossing Home Creek,
County Road 300 crossing Home Creek, County Road 348 crossing Bull
Creek and crossings along County Road 302.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
