THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE TEXAS AND OKLAHOMA
PANHANDLES.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

LIGHT SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE WESTERN OKLAHOMA AND TEXAS
PANHANDLES EARLY THIS MORNING BEFORE CHANGING OVER TO LIGHT RAIN.
SNOW IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ONCE AGAIN THIS EVENING AND CONTINUE
THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT. A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR THE
WESTERN OKLAHOMA PANHANDLE WHERE THE HIGHEST SNOWFALL TOTALS ARE
EXPECTED.

WINDY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE WESTERN HALF OF THE TEXAS
PANHANDLE TODAY. SUSTAINED WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO REACH INTO THE 25 TO
45 MPH RANGE WITH GUSTS AS HIGH AS 60 MPH. A HIGH WIND WARNING GOES
INTO AFFECT FOR THE SOUTHWESTERN TEXAS PANHANDLE AT NOON AND A WIND
ADVISORY GOES INTO AFFECT FOR THE REST OF THE WESTERN TEXAS PANHANDLE
AT NOON.

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE EASTERN
PANHANDLES THIS AFTERNOON. ANY STORMS THAT DEVELOP ARE EXPECTED TO
REMAIN BELOW SEVERE LIMITS.

ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE SOUTHWESTERN
TEXAS PANHANDLE TODAY DUE TO STRONG SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS AND LOWER
RELATIVE HUMIDITIES

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

SNOW IS EXPECTED ACROSS THE OKLAHOMA AND NORTHERN TEXAS PANHANDLE
TUESDAY. A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR THE WESTERN
OKLAHOMA PANHANDLES WHERE THE HIGHEST SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS ARE
EXPECTED...BETWEEN 1 TO 3 INCHES. IN ADDITION...SOME BLOWING AND
DRIFTING SNOW MAY OCCUR IN THE OKLAHOMA PANHANDLE DUE TO STRONG
NORTH WINDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS.
