Hydrologic Outlook
National Weather Service Gaylord MI
432 PM EDT Wed Jun 28 2017

...Heavy rainfall possible tonight and again Friday...

Over the past couple of weeks...significant rainfall has fallen
across much of northern Lower Michigan.

Heavy rainfall is possible tonight as a storm system passes through
the Great Lakes. Additional heavy rainfall is possible on Friday.
Rainfall amounts through tonight are expected to range from 0.50"
to 1.50" over the area with the highest amounts expected north of
line from Manistee to Alpena.

Some flooding may occur because the ground is saturated from
recent rains. Small streams and rivers could rise close to or
above flood stage by Friday.

If you live near rivers and creeks, especially in areas that have
experienced heavy rain in the past few days, please monitor water
levels and pay attention to forecasts from the National Weather
Service at http://weather.gov/gaylord.
