EASTERN UPPER MICHIGAN...AND ADJACENT NEARSHORE WATERS OF LAKE
MICHIGAN...LAKE HURON...AND LAKE SUPERIOR.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

MAINLY LIGHT SNOW WILL CONTINUE TODAY...MOST PREVALENT ACROSS
NORTHWEST LOWER AND EASTERN UPPER MICHIGAN...WHERE SNOW WILL ALSO BE
LOCALLY ENHANCED BY THE GREAT LAKES. ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATION IS
EXPECTED TO BE LIGHT...THOUGH ROADS WILL REMAIN SNOW COVERED AND
SLICK. PLEASE SEE THE LATEST WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY OR VIEW
WEATHER.GOV/GAYLORD FOR MORE DETAILS.

IN ADDITION...THE RIFLE RIVER AT STERLING AND THE MANISTEE RIVER
NEAR SHERMAN WILL REMAIN NEAR FLOOD STAGE THROUGH TONIGHT.

MINOR FLOODING WILL CONTINUE THROUGH WEDNESDAY ON THE MANISTEE RIVER
NEAR SHERMAN AND THE RIFLE RIVER NEAR STERLING. PLEASE SEE THE

ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATING SNOW IS POSSIBLE WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTO
THURSDAY.

ACCUMULATING SNOW IS ALSO EXPECTED AGAIN FRIDAY AFTERNOON INTO
FRIDAY NIGHT. HOLIDAY TRAVELERS PLANNING ON DRIVING ALONG US-2 IN
MACKINAC COUNTY MAY NEED TO PREPARE FOR POSSIBLE HEAVY SNOW AND
PERIODS OF POOR VISIBILITY.
