EASTERN UPPER MICHIGAN...AND ADJACENT NEARSHORE WATERS OF LAKE
MICHIGAN...LAKE HURON...AND LAKE SUPERIOR.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

A QUICK HITTING STORM SYSTEM WILL AFFECT NORTHERN MICHIGAN SUNDAY
AFTERNOON INTO SUNDAY NIGHT. THE FOLLOWING IMPACTS ARE EXPECTED:

  * WINDS: SOUTHWEST WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 40 MPH ON
    SUNDAY...SHIFTING NORTHWEST SUNDAY NIGHT. THE STRONGEST WINDS
    WILL BE ALONG THE LAKE MICHIGAN SHORE.

  * SNOW: A PERIOD OF ACCUMULATING SNOW IS EXPECTED...POSSIBLY
    MIXED WITH RAIN AT THE ONSET. THE MOST LIKELY AREAS FOR SNOW
    ACCUMULATION WILL BE EASTERN UPPER AND THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF
    NORTHERN LOWER MICHIGAN. ROADS MAY BECOME SNOW COVERED WITH
    SLICK TRAVEL POSSIBLE.

ANOTHER ROUND OF ACCUMULATING SNOW IS POSSIBLE OVER PARTS OF
NORTHERN MICHIGAN MONDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY TUESDAY. AT THIS
TIME...CONFIDENCE REMAINS LOW REGARDING THE EXACT PLACEMENT OF
ANY HEAVIER SNOW.
