THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHERN LOWER MICHIGAN...
EASTERN UPPER MICHIGAN...AND ADJACENT NEARSHORE WATERS OF LAKE
MICHIGAN...LAKE HURON AND LAKE SUPERIOR.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

WELL BELOW ZERO WIND CHILLS WILL CONTINUE EARLY THIS MORNING. SEE
ONGOING ADVISORY FOR FURTHER DETAILS.

A STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING STRENGTHENING WINDS AND ACCUMULATING SNOW
TO THE AREA LATE TONIGHT. THIS WILL CREATE REDUCED VISIBILITIES DUE
TO FALLING AND BLOWING SNOW. THE HIGHEST THREAT AREAS FOR BLOWING
SNOW ISSUES WILL BE ALONG US-2...BEAVER ISLAND...AND THE LAKE
MICHIGAN COASTLINE NORTHWARD THROUGH THE STRAITS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

STRONG WINDS AND ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL CONTINUE INTO TUESDAY...
PRODUCING REDUCED VISIBILITIES DUE TO FALLING AND BLOWING SNOW. THE
HIGHEST THREAT AREAS FOR BLOWING SNOW ISSUES WILL BE ALONG US-
2...BEAVER ISLAND...AND THE LAKE MICHIGAN COASTLINE NORTHWARD
THROUGH THE STRAITS.

ANOTHER SURGE OF ARCTIC AIR WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY WILL RESULT IN
ADDITIONAL SUB-ZERO TEMPERATURES AND WIND CHILLS.

THE PERSISTENT COLD WEATHER THROUGH THIS WEEK WILL INCREASE THE
THREAT FOR FLOODING DUE TO ICE JAMS ON AREA RIVERS.
