THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHERN LOWER MICHIGAN...
EASTERN UPPER MICHIGAN...AND ADJACENT NEARSHORE WATERS OF LAKE
MICHIGAN...LAKE HURON AND LAKE SUPERIOR.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE MAJORITY OF NORTHERN
MICHIGAN OVERNIGHT...WITH THE HEAVIEST RAIN FALLING OVER NORTHERN
LOWER. THE ADDITIONAL RAINFALL WILL RESULT IN SIGNIFICANT RISES ON
SOME ALREADY SWOLLEN RIVERS AND STREAMS...ESPECIALLY THE
MANISTEE...RIFLE...AU SABLE...BOARDMAN...TOBACCO...AND PLATTE
RIVERS. IN ADDITION...LOWLAND FLOODING IS POSSIBLE FOR MANY AREAS.

THERE IS A CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS NEAR AND EAST OF A LINE FROM
CADILLAC TO ALPENA. ANY THUNDERSTORMS THAT DEVELOP ARE NOT EXPECTED
TO BE SEVERE...BUT A FEW MAY PRODUCE SMALL HAIL AND GUSTY WINDS
OVERNIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

RAIN WILL CHANGE TO SNOW FROM WEST TO EAST MONDAY...WITH ANOTHER
ROUND OF LIGHT SNOW POSSIBLE FOR MANY LOCATIONS MONDAY NIGHT. A
LITTLE SNOW ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED...PRIMARILY ACROSS NORTHWEST
LOWER AND EASTERN UPPER...AND ROADS MAY BECOME SNOW COVERED BRIEFLY
MONDAY MORNING AND AGAIN MONDAY NIGHT.

RIVERS AND STREAMS WILL REMAIN SWOLLEN WITH POTENTIAL LOWLAND
FLOODING INTO MUCH OF THE UPCOMING WORK WEEK.

TEMPERATURES WILL DROP TO WELL BELOW NORMAL FOR THE FIRST HALF OF
NEXT WEEK...WITH RECORD LOW TEMPERATURES POSSIBLE IN SOME AREAS
TUESDAY NIGHT.
