THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHERN LOWER MICHIGAN...
EASTERN UPPER MICHIGAN...AND ADJACENT NEARSHORE WATERS OF LAKE
MICHIGAN...LAKE HURON AND LAKE SUPERIOR.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

A ROUND OF SHOWERS AND A THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE THROUGH THE
REGION THROUGH MID AFTERNOON. SOME STORMS WILL BE SEVERE PRODUCING
WIND GUSTS UP TO 60 MPH. TORNADOS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE WITH THESE
STORMS.

ANOTHER LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS MAY DEVELOP AND SLIDE THROUGH
NORTHERN LOWER MICHIGAN...LATE THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH THE EVENING
HOURS...ALONG A COLD FRONT THAT WILL SWING THROUGH THE REGION.
THESE STORMS MAY ALSO BECOME SEVERE...WITH THE MAIN THREAT BEING
DAMAGING WINDS.

THERE IS A HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS TODAY ON THE LAKE MICHIGAN
BEACHES OF NORTHWEST LOWER MICHIGAN...ESPECIALLY FROM MANISTEE TO
LEELANAU COUNTY INCLUDING SLEEPING BEAR DUNES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

THERE IS A CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH
FRIDAY. AS IT STANDS NOW...THE BEST CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE
THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND THURSDAY NIGHT.
