EASTERN UPPER MICHIGAN...AND ADJACENT NEARSHORE WATERS OF LAKE
MICHIGAN...LAKE HURON AND LAKE SUPERIOR.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

...SIGNIFICANT MIDWEEK STORM THEN TURNING SHARPLY COOLER...

A STRONG STORM SYSTEM WILL IMPACT THE GREAT LAKES REGION WEDNESDAY
INTO THURSDAY. THE FOLLOWING IMPACTS ARE POSSIBLE FROM THIS STORM:

  * RAIN: MANY LOCATIONS WILL SEE OVER ONE INCH OF RAIN ON WEDNESDAY
    AND WEDNESDAY EVENING. LOCALLY HEAVIER AMOUNTS ARE POSSIBLE.

  * THUNDERSTORMS: SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE ON WEDNESDAY...
    WITH THE GREATEST RISK ACROSS NORTHERN LOWER MICHIGAN IN THE
    AFTERNOON.

  * STRONG WINDS: GALE FORCE WINDS POSSIBLE ON THE GREAT LAKES
    PARTICULARLY WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND THURSDAY.

  * TEMPERATURES: SHARPLY COOLER TEMPERATURES TO END THE WEEK.

THERE REMAINS SOME UNCERTAINTY WITH REGARD TO THE EVENTUAL TRACK AND
INTENSITY OF THIS STORM...WHICH WILL DETERMINE THE SEVERE WEATHER
RISK FOR NORTHERN MICHIGAN. CONTINUE TO MONITOR THE LATEST FORECASTS
REGARDING THIS UPCOMING STORM.
