THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHERN LOWER MICHIGAN...
EASTERN UPPER MICHIGAN...AND ADJACENT NEARSHORE WATERS OF LAKE
MICHIGAN...LAKE HURON AND LAKE SUPERIOR.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

A COLD FRONT WILL BRING A BAND OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TODAY.
THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH THE PRIMARY
THREAT BEING DAMAGING WINDS...BUT HAIL IS POSSIBLE IN THE STRONGEST
STORMS. THE SLIGHT RISK IS MAINLY SOUTH OF M-72 AND EAST OF I-75
THIS AFTERNOON. A FEW THUNDERSTORMS MAY REACH SEVERE LIMITS IN THE
REST OF NORTHERN LOWER AND EAST UPPER MICHIGAN.

THERE IS ALSO A CHANCE FOR A STORM OF TWO LATE TONIGHT...BURIED
WITHIN DEVELOPING LAKE EFFECT RAIN SHOWERS...ACROSS FAR NORTHWEST
LOWER...THE STRAITS...AND OVER TO DRUMMOND ISLAND. THESE STORMS
WILL NOT BE SEVERE.

IN ADDITION...THERE IS A HIGH SWIM RISK DUE TO DANGEROUS
CURRENTS...GUSTY WINDS AND HIGH WAVES FOR THE LAKE MICHIGAN AND
LAKE HURON BEACHES OF NORTHWEST LOWER MICHIGAN AND EASTERN UPPER
MICHIGAN.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR WATERSPOUTS OVER THE GREAT LAKES MONDAY
THROUGH TUESDAY...AS WELL AS ADDITIONAL STORMS IN CONTINUING LAKE
EFFECT RAIN SHOWERS ACROSS NORTHWEST LOWER MICHIGAN.
