...An area of heavy snow will affect northwestern Aroostook and
northern Somerset Counties...

At 933 AM EDT...An area of heavy snow was along a line extending
from Saint Pamphile to 10 miles 13 miles northwest of
Comstock Mountain...and moving very slowly southeast.

Locations impacted include...
Clayton Lake, Saint Pamphile, Baker Lake, Billy-Jack Depot, Nine-mile
Bridge, and Round Pond.

  * Winds in excess of 35 mph are possible.

  * Visibilities will drop quickly to less than a half mile.

  * Snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour are possible.

Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be
prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra
time when traveling.
