The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Central La Salle County in south central Texas...

* Until 900 PM CDT.

* At 832 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Artesia
  Wells, or 7 miles southwest of Cotulla, moving southeast at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...Quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected.

* Locations impacted include...
  Cotulla, Fort Ewell Site, Artesia Wells, and Chaparral Wildlife
  Management Area.

This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 49 and 68.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
one of nature`s leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,
you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
