...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS TODAY FOR PORTIONS OF
NORTHEAST MINNESOTA...

Humidity values will drop to 18 to 25 percent today and easterly
winds are expected to strengthen with gusts of 25 to 40 mph.
Together, these conditions could lead to the rapid spread of
fires. Check burning restrictions and fire danger before burning.

...NEAR CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS TODAY FOR PORTIONS OF
CENTRAL TO NORTHEAST MINNESOTA...

Windy conditions will develop today with easterly gusts of 30 to
45 mph expected by afternoon. Humidity values will be from 30 to
40 percent. The humidity will increase over the Brainerd Lakes,
Aitkin, Walker, and McGregor areas this afternoon as an area of
rain moves north. The windy conditions and lower humidity values
could lead to the rapid spread of fires prior to the arrival of
the rain. Check burning restrictions and fire danger before
burning.

Low humidity and breezy winds will lead to near critical fire
weather conditions today. Easterly winds will increase through the
day and gusts of 30 to 40 mph are expected this afternoon along
with low humidity from 20 to 25 percent. The low humidity and
wind could lead to the rapid spread of fires. Check burning
restrictions and fire danger before burning.
