The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southwestern Dodge County in central Georgia...
  Southwestern Telfair County in central Georgia...
  Wilcox County in central Georgia...

* Until 245 PM EDT.

* At 154 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from Pineview to near Double Run, moving southeast at 45
  mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Abbeville, Rochelle, Pineview, Rhine, Pitts, Temperance, Browning,
  China Hill, Double Run, Antioch Church, Owensboro, and Pope City.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

If you see wind damage...hail or flooding...wait until the storm has
passed...and then call the National Weather Service toll free
