This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska...
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

A Red Flag Warning has been issued for today from 9 AM to 7 PM MDT
for the entire outlook area. Winds gusting 45 to 50 MPH and low
relative humidity values will result in critical fire weather
conditions across the area.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...

Elevated to possibly near critical fire weather conditions are
forecast south of Interstate 70 Wednesday afternoon.

A few thunderstorms will be possible across portions of the outlook
area Thursday afternoon and evening. At this time, severe storms are
not anticipated.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed today. Spotters are encouraged
to report any wildfires to the National Weather Service.
