This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska...
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...

High impact weather day(s) are expected Sunday into Monday.

Strong southwesterly winds up to 35 mph, well above normal
temperatures and dry conditions will result in a very high Grassland
fire danger mainly Sunday.

Severe thunderstorms capable of producing large hail and damaging
winds may develop in advance of an approaching cold front Sunday
afternoon, mainly along and east of Highway 25 in northwest Kansas.

Very strong northerly winds, with gusts possibly over 50 to 60 mph,
will develop in the wake of an Arctic cold frontal passage late
Sunday afternoon and evening into Monday. Blowing dust may result
Sunday, with blowing snow possibly on Monday.

Wind chill readings around zero are possible Sunday and monday
nights.

Elevated to Near Critical fire weather conditions are possible next
Thursday and Friday west of Highway 25.
