...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 200 PM EDT
FOR NORTHERN BUNCOMBE AND YANCEY COUNTIES...

At 113 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 5 miles southeast of Erwin to 10 miles east of
Marshall to 13 miles west of Downtown Asheville, moving east at 40
mph.

HAZARD...Two inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
         considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
         mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Burnsville, North Asheville, Woodfin, Weaverville, Leicester, Mount
Mitchell State Park, B.R. Parkway-East Asheville To Craggy Gardens,
B.R. Parkway-Craggy To Little Switzerland, Montreat, and Ramseytown.
