Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central/Southeast Illinois
National Weather Service Lincoln IL
358 AM CDT Mon Apr 22 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Southwest winds increase today with gusts up to 30 mph expected
by this afternoon. Deep mixing will bring down much drier air,
sending minimum RH`s into the 20-30% range. Rain showers return
late tonight into Tuesday as a cold front moves through the area.
Winds will remain breezy on Tuesday ahead of the frontal passage,
but then will become lighter on Wednesday as high pressure settles
into the Great Lakes Region.
