The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southern Shelby County in central Indiana...
  Southern Johnson County in central Indiana...

* Until 830 PM EDT.

* At 747 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles southwest
  of Franklin, or 18 miles northwest of Columbus, moving east at 40
  mph.

  HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
           wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Franklin, Edinburgh, Flat Rock, Princes Lakes, Geneva, Trafalgar,
  St. Paul, Marietta, and Waldron.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 79 and 89.
 Interstate 74 between mile markers 119 and 123.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for central and
south central Indiana. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until
100 AM EDT for central Indiana.
