...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT PORTIONS OF WESTERN WEST
FELICIANA AND POINTE COUPEE PARISHES THROUGH 700 AM CDT
...

At 625 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Bayou Current to near Krotz Springs.
Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
New Roads, Livonia, Fordoche, Morganza, Lettsworth, Batchelor, and
Lottie.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in New Orleans.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 AM CDT for
southeastern Louisiana...and southern Mississippi.
