The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Central Monroe County in south central Kentucky...
  Western Cumberland County in south central Kentucky...
  Southeastern Metcalfe County in south central Kentucky...

* Until 600 PM CDT.

* At 536 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over
  Tompkinsville, moving northeast at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Tompkinsville, Burkesville, Leslie, Waterview, Meshack, Persimmon,
  Forkton, Ellington, Willow Shade, and Grider.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for south central
Kentucky.
