West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...A stationary front extending E
and SE from the North Carolina coast early this morning will
slowly weaken today, and then dissipate tonight. High pressure
building S and SE over the waters N of the front today will
prevail tonight into Sun. The high will move off to the E of the
area Sun night as a weak cold front approaches the coast. The
front will remain near the coast Mon, slowly move SE over the N
waters Mon night into Tue, then stall over the central waters Tue
night. On Wed, the front will begin to lift N as a warm front
across the central and then the N waters. The front will likely
move just N of the area by Wed night as weak low pressure areas
form along the front.
