...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 345 PM CDT
FOR EASTERN MILLS COUNTY...

At 331 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Hastings, or 16
miles west of Red Oak, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Tennis ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...At 3:30 PM, trained weather spotters reported golf ball-
         sized hail near Malvern .

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
         considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
         mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Malvern, Emerson, Silver City, Henderson, and Hastings.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for southwestern
Iowa.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
