The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northern Muhlenberg County in south central Kentucky...
  Southeastern McLean County in northwestern Kentucky...
  Southeastern Hopkins County in northwestern Kentucky...

* Until 300 PM CDT.

* At 209 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Nortonville,
  or 9 miles south of Madisonville, moving northeast at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...Two inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts. Accumulating hail
           may cause dangeorus travel conditions.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
           considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Madisonville, Central City, Earlington, Nortonville, Mortons Gap,
  Powderly, Graham, Greenville, White Plains, Drakesboro, Island, St.
  Charles, Bremen, South Carrollton, and Kirtley.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 69 in Kentucky between Mile Markers 100 and 112.
 Western Kentucky Parkway between Mile Markers 39 and 65.
 Pennyrile Parkway between Mile Markers 29 and 34.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 500 PM CDT for south central
and northwestern Kentucky. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect
until 900 PM CDT for northwestern Kentucky.
