Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southwest and South-Central
Arizona and Southeast California
National Weather Service Phoenix AZ
329 AM MST Tue Apr 23 2024

.DISCUSSION...
Elevated fire weather conditons will exist this afternoon and
Wednesday across the western districts. Temperatures will remain
above-normal but will follow a gradual cooling trend over the next
few days. Breezy to locally windy conditons will be common,
mainly during the afternoon hours, with gusts ranging 25-35 mph.
MinRHs will hover around 10-15% with modest to decent overnight
recoveries. Elsewhere, similar hot and dry conditons will persist
through Wednesday, but fire danger should be limited to the
absence of enhanced wind gusts.
