At 228 PM, National Weather Service radar detected scattered
showers generally in eastern Oklahoma east of highway 75, also west
of a Eufaula to Hugo line and also south of I44 and east of the
Muskogee Turnpike. Showers were heaviest in Mcintosh, Muskogee and
Haskell counties in Oklahoma. Movement was to the southeast at
around 25 mph. The average amount where it rained last hour was less
than one tenth of an inch with maximum amounts of one tenth to one
quarter of an inch. Intensity decreased during the last hour. The
Tulsa area forecast for late this afternoon, mostly cloudy, a chance
of showers and thunderstorms with temperatures 68 to 75 degrees and
east winds up to 10 mph.
