* WHEN...Until 5 PM AKDT this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow
  could significantly reduce visibility. Snow drifts will form.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow, blowing snow, and increasing winds
  are expected to develop about 7 am today and continue through
  noon. Conditions should gradually improve this afternoon as
  falling snow ends and visibility increases. Winds will diminish
  tonight.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing
  snow could significantly reduce visibility with whiteout conditions
  possible.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow and blowing snow with very low
  visibility will continue through noon. Conditions should
  gradually improve this afternoon as falling snow ends and
  visibility increases. Winds will diminish tonight.
