NOVEMBER STARTED WITH TYPICAL FALL-LIKE WEATHER FEATURING PERIODS OF
ABOVE NORMAL WEATHER FOLLOWED BY A COLD FRONT AND COOLER WEATHER.
GRADUALLY BY THE MIDDLE OF NOVEMBER, WARM WEATHER HAD BECOME
DOMINANT. ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES LASTED FROM THE 13TH THROUGH THE
20TH, PEAKING AT 62 DEGREES ON THE 14TH. BUT ON THE 20TH A STORM
SYSTEM BROUGHT PRECIPITATION AND A SHIFT TOWARD COOLER WEATHER WHICH
LASTED MOST OF THE REST OF THE MONTH.

THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE FOR THE MONTH WAS 40.2 DEGREES WHICH WAS 2.3
DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL. THE COLDEST NOVEMBER ON RECORD WAS 1968 WHEN
THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE WAS 32.5 DEGREES. THE WARMEST NOVEMBER WAS
42.9 DEGREES AND OCCURRED IN 2009, 1999, AND 1975.

A TOTAL OF 3.57 INCHES OF PRECIPITATION FELL WHICH WAS 0.79 INCHES
BELOW NORMAL. ALTHOUGH BELOW NORMAL, THE PRECIPITATION DID HELP TO
PREVENT THE PERSISTENT DROUGHT FROM INTENSIFYING. THE DRIEST
NOVEMBER ON RECORD WAS IN 2012 WHEN ONLY 0.95 INCHES WAS MEASURED.
THE WETTEST WAS IN 1963 WITH 10.50 INCHES.

NO DAILY RECORDS WERE SET OR TIED IN NOVEMBER 2016.
