.Summary...
For the fifth month in a row, temperatures were below the 30-year
average in Little Rock. This was largely due to temperatures of 10
to near 15 degrees below average during the first half of the month.
However, the trends were quickly reversing, with the latter half of
the month seeing readings consistently 5-10 degrees above average.

For the fourth year in a row, there were no 100-degree days during
the month. There were ten 90-degree days, which was the fewest in
the month of September since 2014. There were seven days with
low temperatures below 60 degrees, which was the most since 2011.

Rainfall was significantly below average. Even though it was only
the driest September in two years, it was still one of the top ten
driest since rainfall records began in 1874.

The average high temperature was the coolest since 2012. The average
low and average monthly temperatures were both the coolest since
2011.

Daily temperatures were above average on 16 days, below average on
13 days and average on one day.
