out to 60 nautical miles.

Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest 1/3
of the waves...along with occasional height of the average highest
10 percent of the waves.

.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...
A cold front will quickly push south across the area between Noon
and midday...with moderate to strong north flow developing in its
wake. Wind speeds will strengthen further this evening and peak
overnight with seas building in response to the stronger winds.
Small Craft Advisories are in effect for this afternoon and
through tonight for the Gulf waters. Scattered showers and
thunderstorms can be expected along the front. Wind and seas may
be higher in and near storms. North flow will weaken slightly
Monday night. Another cold front will arrive on Tuesday with
offshore flow increasing to moderate to strong levels behind the
front and continue through Tuesday night. Offshore flow will
weaken Wednesday with a moderate onshore flow returning Thursday.
