Generalized Statewide Coastal Waters Forecast for Hawaii

.Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters...
A new large north northwest swell will fill in today, peak
tonight and Wednesday, then slowly decline Wednesday night through
Friday. The next cold front is expected to move down the island
chain today through Wednesday morning. High pressure will build
back in north of the state through the end of the week.

Hawaiian waters within 40 nautical miles including the channels-

...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY...

.REST OF TODAY AND TONIGHT...West winds 10 to 20 knots, becoming
north 15 to 20 knots by tonight. Wind waves 3 to 5 feet. Northwest
swell 11 feet, building to 14 feet in the afternoon, then 18 to 19
feet tonight. Haze. Showers likely today.
.WEDNESDAY AND WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Northeast winds 15 to 25 knots.
Wind waves 4 to 7 feet. Northwest swell 17 feet, lowering to 14
feet overnight. Isolated showers.
.THURSDAY AND THURSDAY NIGHT...Northeast winds 20 to 25 knots.
Wind waves 7 to 9 feet. Northwest swell 10 to 11 feet. Isolated
showers.
.FRIDAY...Northeast winds 15 to 25 knots Oahu westward, 10 to 15
knots elsewhere. Wind waves 5 to 10 feet. Northwest swell 7 to 9
feet. Haze. Scattered showers.
.SATURDAY...Variable winds 10 knots or less. Wind waves 3 to 5
feet. Northwest swell 6 to 7 feet. Haze. Scattered showers.
