IN SOUTHEAST GEORGIA...
BRYAN...BULLOCH...CANDLER...CHATHAM...EFFINGHAM...EVANS...
JENKINS...LIBERTY...LONG...MCINTOSH...SCREVEN...TATTNALL...

INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING RIVERS...
EDISTO...LOWER SANTEE...OGEECHEE...OHOOPEE...SAVANNAH...

MUCH OF SOUTHERN SOUTH CAROLINA AND PARTS OF FAR INLAND SOUTHEAST
GEORGIA ARE IN D0 OR ABNORMALLY DRY DROUGHT STATUS. THIS IS
RESULTING IN BELOW NORMAL FLOWS ON BOTH THE ALTAMAHA AND SAVANNAH
RIVERS...BUT WITH NORMAL OR EVEN ABOVE NORMAL FLOWS ELSEWHERE. AS
MUCH AS 1/2 TO 1 INCH OF RAINFALL IS EXPECTED LATE FRIDAY INTO
SATURDAY...BUT NO SIGNIFICANT RAINFALL IS EXPECTED THEREAFTER
THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK. THE ONE MONTH OUTLOOK FROM THE
CLIMATE PREDICTION CENTER INDICATES ABOVE NORMAL RAINFALL...BUT
THE THREE MONTH OUTLOOK IS FOR BELOW NORMAL RAINFALL. THESE
FACTORS INDICATE THAT THE RIVER FLOODING POTENTIAL IS BELOW NORMAL
INTO THE SPRING.

THE NEXT WINTER/SPRING FLOOD POTENTIAL OUTLOOK WILL BE ISSUED ON
JANUARY 19 2017.
